The short version

eCompliance Training is a trading name of BRS Learning Pty Ltd (ACN 129 153 680), which also trades as Hungry Minds, Discover Learning Designs and Instructional Design Australia. Hungry Minds is the parent brand and does the custom work.

Our partnership with Safetrac

The 101 off-the-shelf courses in this catalogue and the compliance platform are delivered with Safetrac, an Australian compliance training provider. Three things follow from that, and we would rather you heard them from us.

  • Off-the-shelf enquiries go to Safetrac. If you tell us you want a course deployed as it is, we forward your details to them and they contact you directly. The confirmation page says so at the time, not afterwards. Start an off-the-shelf enquiry.
  • We may earn a commission on that referral. It does not change the price you pay.
  • Custom builds do not go to Safetrac. They stay with Hungry Minds, which is the work we would rather be doing. Start a custom enquiry.

Why both lanes exist

Plenty of compliance obligations are genuinely well served by a proven course that can be running by Friday. Pretending otherwise to win a bigger job would waste your money. Equally, if your training is being ignored, buying a different version of the same thing will not fix it. The two lanes exist so you can pick honestly, and so we are not incentivised to push you the wrong way.

Who is responsible for the content

Worth being precise about this, because two different organisations write what you read on this site.

  • Off-the-shelf course content comes from Safetrac. That includes every description of legislation and every statement of a compliance obligation attached to a course. Hungry Minds provides an introduction and referral service. We are not responsible for the accuracy or currency of that content, and none of it is legal advice. Enquire about an off-the-shelf course.
  • The compliance resources and category guides are written by Hungry Minds. They are researched against primary sources and every source is cited, but they are general information rather than legal advice, and they are not a statement of your obligations.
  • Custom training is built by Hungry Minds against the policies and obligations you give us. We are responsible for the instructional design. Confirming that your policy set is correct and current stays with you and your advisers. Start a custom enquiry.
